SVĀDHYĀYA - THE INNER PRACTICE RETREAT
Three days of Yoga, Silence and Self-enquiry.
Italy · 25th – 28th February 2027
A long weekend dedicated to going deeper into your yoga practice.
Away from the pace and distractions of everyday life, we create space to practise, study, and turn inward.
The retreat takes place in a simple, rustic Italian farmhouse, surrounded by nature featuring lavender crops, where the days are shaped around the sadhana practice rather than a holiday itinerary.
- Energizing early morning practice
- Mouna – conscious silence until after breakfast
- Shared vegetarian meals
- Study and enquiry through workshops and rest
- Restorative evening practice
- Rest
A few days to step away from doing and give your attention fully to the practice.

WHAT IS SVĀDHYĀYA?
Svādhyāya is often translated as self-study or study of the self.
This retreat is an invitation to explore that inner practice through the different dimensions of yoga – not only as a practice, but as a way of living.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
Svādhyāya is for students who want to deepen their relationship with yoga.
You might already have an established practice and feel ready to explore it more deeply, or you may be relatively new to yoga but curious about moving beyond the physical practice.
This retreat is particularly suited to you if you:
- want to develop a more consistent or intentional practice
- are interested in yoga beyond asana
- want to explore meditation, philosophy and self-enquiry
- value quiet and simplicity
- want dedicated time to practise without the distractions of everyday life
- are a solo traveller – most guests come on their own
You don’t need to be an advanced practitioner, but this is not a yoga holiday.
The intention is to dedicate these three days to practice.
Come as you are, with curiosity and an open mind.

THE SETTING

Cascina Mima is a renovated old farmhouse surrounded by 3 hectares of land featuring lavender crops, an orchard, and panoramic views of the Monferrato hills.

The simplicity becomes part of the retreat itself.
